John and I were actually able to go on a trip all alone for the first time since Riley was born. We went to New York the weekend of September 9. I went to a conference at Sloan Kettering Hospital on Monday, September 11, so John and I decided to make a weekend of it since we had some frequent flyer miles. We had a wonderful time, and the girls were great while we were gone. Big thank you's to Gram and Grandy and Mimi and Papa for watching the girls (especially since we ended up being gone an extra night due to our flight being delayed 3 hours!)
The girls are doing great in preschool. Molly really loves going, and Riley is actually warming up to the idea! However, Molly's favorite activity at the moment is choir at church. I am teaching the 3rd-5th grade Young Musicians, so Molly is able to attend the preschool choir. She loves it, and she asks to go every morning. If Molly is going to be our musician, then Riley is going to be our dancer. She loves to listen to any kind of music, and she actually dances. The nursery workers at church have even commented on how much she likes to dance to the music! We hope everyone is having a great week. Keep in touch!
(By the way...If you are interested, you can put your e-mail address into the link to the right and you will receive an e-mail when the blog is updated. What a neat idea!)
