We just got home from a wonderful trip to Fort Worth, Texas. John's dad just retired from the Cooperative Baptist Convention. The CBF had their annual gneral assembly in Fort Worth, so we all went to be with Grandy for the week. We made the long drive to Texas and met Gram and Grandy as well as Uncle Steven, Aunt Erica and cousin Clara. We had a great time and loved spending time with all the family.

Looks like a fun trip! So, he just retired from CBF?! I worked at the main office over at Mercer ATL about 6-7 years ago as a receptionist. Who knows, I might've spoken with him on the phone or met him in the office. :) Looks like he will enjoy the retirement with his grandkids!
