12 Weeks...Really?

What a whirlwind the last 12 weeks have been. To say we have had our challenges would be an understatement. Benjamin is bound and determined to give us a run for our money! I discovered at about 6 weeks that he was tongue tied, which was preventing him from sucking correctly, which was preventing him from eating. In case you don't know what tongue tied is, here is a picture:

(This is not Ben...just a picture I found on the internet!)

So, we made a trip to the ENT and had that little sucker clipped! Ben immediately began eating much better. A couple of weeks passed and he was eating great and packing on the pounds. In fact, he gained a whole pound the week following his mouth procedure. Then, all of a sudden, he started screaming everytime I fed him. The culprit...acid reflux. Poor thing, we get him to eat and then it hurts him. Back to the doctor we went for some reflux medicine. Three days after beginning the medicine, we have this happy little baby:

He is up to about 12 pounds and eating much better. We love him to death and wouldn't do anything to change him. He is a sweet little boy who loves to be cuddled and loves him big sisters!

Other things we have been up to:

Celebrated Molly's 6th birthday

Benjamin's dedication at church

Taking a bath (ignore the pink wash cloth!)

Sitting in the bumbo

Cheering on the Braves!

Spring Break trip with Mimi and Papa

Just hanging around looking cute!
