I have finally found a minute to sit down and let everyone know what has been going on in the Hamrick house lately. We have been so busy since the beginning of the summer, I don't even know where to begin! We took the girls up to Helen about a month ago for a summer assoicate function with Daddy's work. We had a lot of fun, and the girls loved listening to the blue grass band.
The first full weekend in June, we took the girls to the beach. It was Riley's first trip (I think!), and Molly's first this summer. I'm not counting the weekend in Navarre because we never even took step on the sand! We met our friends Matt and Helen from Dallas, Texas. We went with them last summer to San Francisco for a week. Riley went to, but she doesn't remember because she was still in Mommy's belly! Everyone had a great time, and the beach was beautiful. Molly loved the ocean and the sand, and we had to drag her off the beach each day. She can't wait to go back with Mimi and Papa at the end of the summer. We are very happy that Matt and Helen invited us.

This past weekend was the busiest of them all. Friday night we all went to the CBF general assembly at the World Congress Center to support Grandy. The girls did not get into bed until 11:00 (boy were they tired!) The next morning we woke up bright and early and went to our friend Madison's baptism, which was very special. Right after that, we high-tailed it down to Decatur for our friend Dylan's first birthday party. We then dropped Daddy off at home so he could leave for his friend's wedding in Birmingham, and I took the girls to Madison's baptism party. Needless to say, we were pretty exhausted at the end of the day, but Mommy still had to go to work all night! We have decided to try and avoid anymore weekends like that!
We have also been staying pretty busy during the week. On Tuesdays, we go to church for Mommy's bible study group. Molly goes to "summer school" on Wednesday and Thursday, which she loves. We have been trying to go to the pool and shopping as much as we can! We hope that everyone is having a great summer. Give us a call if you want to come visit. We can probably fit you into our busy schedule!
Ellen
