For some reason on Saturday, we decided it would be a good idea to climb Stone Mountain. If you have never done this with a two year old and a one year old, you should really give it a try! Molly was a real trooper. She walked a lot on the way up the mountain, but needed Mommy to carry her on her back for a little bit of the way. She walked, or should I say jumped, down almost the entire mountain by herself. She and gram decided to jump over all the rocks, which made it fun for Molly, but exhausting for Gram!
Instead of trying to carry an already tired Riley up a mountain, John decided he would push her in the exercise stroller. This seemed like a good idea until we got to the first set of rocks. John and Uncle Steven were able to successfully get Riley and the stroller to the top of the mountain in one piece. Riley was even able to take a nap most of the way up and down (she must have been really tired!) After the climb, we ate a picnic lunch down at the grist mill. It was a wonderful day, but we were sad because we had to say goodbye to Uncle Steven and Erica. Enjoy the pictures!
We made it to the top!
