Every year, we try to take a trip with our best friends from college. With everybody's busy schedules, we can usually get 3 out of 4 families together. This year we were able to get everybody together for the same weekend. Between all of us, we now have 8 kids...can you say Holy Cow!!! We went camping at Oak Mountain State Park in Birmingham, AL. Since Ben has already had pnemonia twice this year, I refused to stay in a tent with him. John was kind enough to went us a 30 foot RV for the weekend. It was so nice...and warm!
We had a great time. The kids played and played and played. They were exhausted by the time Sunday rolled around. We cooked meals on the fire, roasted marshmallows, made smores, and just had a great time together. We even brought a tv to watch the big game on Saturday...we won't talk about the outcome! I'm so glad we were able to pull it off, and we are already looking forward to next year!
