A Great Mothers Day!

I had an absolutely wonderful Mother’s Day. The girls and I went down to Newnan on Saturday night to spend some time with Mimi (Ellen’s mom), and then drove home in time for Sunday school the next morning. We then had lunch with Gram, Grandy, and Uncle Steven, who was visiting from Washington, D.C. After lunch, we came home and Mommy was surprised by her Mother’s Day gift, a new glider for the nursery. It is wonderful and so nice to rock and feed Riley. With my new chair in place in the nursery, Daddy decided it was time to let Molly sleep in her “big girl” bed. Mommy was a bit skeptical but finally agreed. Believe it or not, Molly did great, and has been sleeping in her new room ever since. She helped Daddy get the crib ready for Riley and she knows that Riley sleeps in the nursery now. Who knew if would be so easy? Now if we could only get her to use the potty! (one step at a time!) We have started to give Riley some formula and she has been doing well also. She has had no stomach issues yet, and is even taking the bottle for Mommy. Molly had her last day of school this week and Mommy was very upset. Molly loves going to school, and I think she will miss it. She will start summer school in a few weeks, which is just a shorter version of her regular school and lasts for six weeks during the summer. Mommy can’t wait! Mommy has had a cold for a couple of weeks. She finally gave in a called the doctor for a prescription, and is now feeling much better. We hope everyone is doing well. Keep checking back on us!
This is the only place Riley will take naps (Mommy's fault!)
