Rough Month
- Ben gave us a run for our money in June! He really is the sweetest baby, but his stomach is something terrible to deal with. We haven't quite figured out exactly what is going on, but it does not make him happy to eat. He is on a medicine for acid reflux, a medicine for excessive gas, and a special formula to help his little tummy feel better. He had been doing really well, sleeping from about 9 at night until 7 or 8 in the morning, and then Mommy decided to start rice cereal...that lead to a week of stomach hell! One night he woke up about once an hour with terrible stomach cramps and gas. Needless to say, he is not eating rice cereal anymore for the moment. I am really sad about that because he enjoyed eating so much. We are going to give his tummy a break for a while and start solids again in a couple of weeks. We might just skip over the rice cereal and go for the big guns, fruits and vegetables!
- The children have all been enjoying summer, but Mommy is certainly ready for school to start. Molly has been doing super on the swim team. She improves her times each week. She is swimming in both the back stroke and freestyle. Riley and Benjamin love to come to the swim meets and cheer on their big sister.
- The girls are still enjoying having Ben around. They help out as much as they can and provide constant entertainment for little Ben. He would be so bored without them! Mommy continues to try and grab pictures of the three of them, but has a hard time catching them all in a good mood at the same time!
- Our back yard has become a wildlife refuge this summer. We have enjoyed sitting at the window and watching all of the animals.
- We hope ya'll are having a super summer. Drop us a line and let us know you still check out the blog. Next post...the final swim meet and Ben turns 5 months!
